Colonial Remount Depots.
Received March 11, 10.18 a.m. LONDON, March 10. Gilbert Parker, in a letter to the Times, doubts the success of colonist remount depots during peace, and advo- | cates the experiment of the colonies and the Motherland co-operating in naval | and military defence with common financial rejponßibilities. He suggests recruiting stations in the colonies foe the Imperial forces serving in the colonies and on active foreign service.
