At the Auckland JI.C. Meeting' ho carried a big* weight, and ran third to Doris and Reaper in the Railway Handicap, for which a field of nine started. Owing to an accident on the course while cpmpeting he fell over a hurdle which had been inadvertently left on the track,' and this finished np his racing career!
