Castlecliff v. Victoria.
Castleclifi beat Victoria 11. by 40 runs. For the Victorias Naylor was the only player to show any form, making his 38 in fine style. For Castlecliff, S. Coply (17), J. Lockett (12), and P. Swan (10) were the only. ones to reach double figures. For "Victorias, Edwards took 13 wickets for 34 runs, and Thurston 6 for 36, whilst for Castlecliff Swan took 9 for 3, F. tpokett 7 for 24, McGregor 1 for 14, and Cousins 1 for. 9. Both Edwards (Wanganui) and Swan (Castlecliff) did the hat trick, capturing three 'wickets following."
