This was witnessed by a tremendous crowd of people, and the contest was very keen, resulting as follows: —E. J. Wilde's Dominie (ridden by ovner) •1; E. Symes* Kupara (Noake), -; Mrs D. G. Biddiford's Gay Boy (H. Wilson), 3. THE HIGH JUMPING . was another well contested competition, resulting as follows: —J. Lowe's Euth and W. Johnston's Mignon divided first prize, each having cleared sft tin., The Gunner being third with, sft 2in.
