BUSINESS NOTES.

To-morrew, at 7 a.m., Messrs Hatrick and Co.'s Onura will make 'the extended trip to Paranui, some 20 miles beyond Pipiriki. To-morrow night passengers will stay at Pipiriki House, and on Wednesday go on above, returning to Wanganui on Wednesday after~nodn. ,

In connection with the Wftnganui Agricultural Show, Mr C. T. Jefferson (Hawke's stables) who has-been appointed sole agents for the Wanganui and Palmerston districts, will have exhibits on the ground of Dick's patent horseshoe pads, invaluable for lame horses. The pads are considerably in request, and will no doubt be much more so after they have been exhibited.

Messrs B.'Baddeley and Co- wish the public to know that they have still a few tons of seed and table potatoes left, which they are disposing of very cheaply. Owing to a change in the firm, which takes place at the end' of the month,- they are anxious to reduce their stock.' These potatoes are in firstclass condition, and have' all been picked over.

'Mr Walsh,' who represents (he Eed Bird bicycle department -of the Canada Cycle Motor Ooy., will be in attendance, • and intends to do a good business during his Btay h'sr«. Mr Vuyce will keep the local depot open every evening this week to give every one a ohance to cail and inspect.the latest shipments of these high grade' machines, which, have just been landed from the 'aotory, Toronto, Canada. Bed Birds have had a very successful run in this district since Mr Voyec first landed them, and he anticipates a real good season.

For the Wanganui Agricultural Show on Wednesday and Thursday next, the railway authorities, in another column, announce particulars concerning special passenger train, the issue of holiday ox- " cursion tickets, and other details of interest to visitors to and from Wanganui.
