(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 1. „ Ihe Council met at 2.30. ' OLD AGE PENSIONS. ■The Ole Age Pensions Bill was recommitted, and the Bill reported, road a third tune, and passed. FACTORIES BILL. The Minister for Education moved the committal of the Factories Bill, remarking that the principal recommendations of the Labour Bills Committee were io reduce the age of a boy from 58 to 16 years and to strike out exemptions ot industries from working hours Tho debate continued' till the 5 o'clock Adjournment, and wae resumed at 7.30. Then "the Conncil went into committee on the Bill, and tte Labour Bills Committee's amendments to the interpretation clause in respect of "boy* and "woman" were passed on the voices. The Council adjourned for supper. At clause 29 of the Factories Bill the closure was applied, and progress reported on the Bill.
