' ' WELLINGTON, July 22. • The annual meeting of the New Zea- ! land Amateur Bowing Association, to be held in Wellington on August 31st, will bo more than iwually important. The Canterbury Club and Christchurek Amateur Club will propose that the •Association's headquarters .be removed from Wellington to Christchurch, and that a provisional committee bes et up in the latter city, to manage the affairs until their appointment is revoked. The Otago, Queen's Drive, and Waitemata Clubs will move for the appointment of local associations v wjth powers of ' jlocal government.
