At our horse sale yesterday, we had a good entry. Bidding was dull and in most instances excessive reserves caused things ip drag.' Draughts were not so eagerly sought after as of late,- no doibt owing to the time of the year, but we fully expect to see a better demand towards the spring. We, however- disposed of a fair proportion at satisfactory prices. We quote: — itaEgSS 525 to X 27, others *M i to JB21; unbroken draughts, JB2O to £25; harness horses, J? to* *W ; good hacks, JBI2 to jB16; medium, £6 to £o; others, £2 10s to' £*■ l
Messrs Connor Brothers' woolshed at Raorikia was burnt down last evening, the result of accident. The shed was insured for JE7O in the Government office.
