BUSINESS NOTES.

Williams and Harper ~ have a long list of harness, produce, poultry, fruit, and furniture for their sale to-morrow.

Messrs A. Baddeley and Co.'s replacb advertisement was omitted last evening, but now. appears on our third page.

At his mart to-morrow, at 1 o'clock, Mr J. H. '-Keening will sell the furniture of a complete household, inolnding some very superior goods as well as the usual items of a well furnished home. Twenty shares' in the Wanganui Freezing Company will be sold at 2 o'clock sharp.

Messrs Crichton and Newman,, the Universal Boot and Shoe providers', aro showing a large and well assorted stock of ladies' and gents' boots, shoes, and slippers, suitable for the present season. The variety of American goods shown is specially good, and. includes some of the best makers in the market, such aa Pingree and Smith, Kruppendorf, Dittman, etc. We would advise anyone requiring boots or shoes of any description to give the firm a call and inspect their goods.

Messrs Williams and Harper are offering some valuable properties for sale byauotion to-morrow, and a good chance is presented to those wanting a house. Tho sale will commence at uoon, and the -first lot offered will be the desirable freehold in Plymouth Street at present in the occupation of Mr Thos. Williams. The second lot offered will be a quarteracre section at Sodgebrook, with sroi>med houso and oil conveniences, occupied by Mr P. McAliden. This is a splendid s*to, high and dry, with good soil, and is close to Eastown -works. Tho third lot will consist of a leasehold property, with 6-roomed dwelling, at Caatlccliff.
