All Kaierau members arc requested to roll 'up nfc ihe Drill Hall for practice at 7.30 sharp this evening. Hie committee will meet at the Drill Hall at 7 p.m. Very nigent business is to be dismissed and all committcee men aro requested to be present. A meeting was held at Ractihi on ihe 19fh inst. for the purpbsc of forming a football club, when a fqjrly large number turned up, tho meeting proviiigr very successful. The folowing will represent. Aramoho against the Old Boys on the R#. at 3 p.m. sharp on Saturday:— O'Maley, Fremont, Edwards, Hogan, Holland, Harris, Davis, Dustin, Cha'iney, O'Leary, Morgan, Wilson (2), Haywojjd (2), emergencies: — Thurlow, Comrie, Fremont. Members are requested to attend' at Mitchell's at 7.30 this evening. The following will play for the Wanganui F.C. against Kaierau on Saturday "at 3 p.m. sharp, on tho Recreation (No. 1 Ground):— Full-back, Aidsworth; three-quarters, Stedman, .Dick, and Joll; five-eighth, Robinson; half, Thomson; forwards, Moss, Ewing, Collins, Butler, Kay, Dykes, Robertshaw. and Lockctt. . A well-attended and representative meeting of those interested in forming a football club was held at Fordeil last night. Mr A. Burnett was elected president, Messrs Cowio, Cooper, Croft, Bath, McGregor, Titty, 'and Smith, vice-presidents; Committee, Messrs Sharpe, Bevan, Voltz, AJtwood, and Morse: secretary and treasurer, Mr C. T. JBrebner; captain, Mr W. JH. Hillynr. A number of details, such as colours, ground, etc., wore brought forward and arranged. It was decided that the Club should meet for practico on May 4th.
