LAND BOARD.

The Board met on Friday. PresentMessrs J. W. A. Marchant. (chairman), -A. W. Hogg 1 , J. Stevens, and A. Reese. The Board placed on record its regret at the death of the Queen. .The following transfers were acceded, to: — Public Trustee in estate of B. Shannon to J. Banldn, section 31, block 12, Apiti; A. Broadbclt to H. McLean, section 17, block 8, Makotuku; G. Churcher to H. R. Elliott, section 33, block 4,4 Umuturoa; T. Quillinan to Julia Caldwell, sections 11 and 12, block 5, Tiriraukawa; M. Lickfold to J. Kerr, section 12, block 4, Puketoi; W. Niehollsxto C. J., L. and H. J. Canton, section 5, black 3, Tiriraukawa. ■* j- ■ It was resolved to approve the advance on Mr J.
