LONDON, February 5..' The foreign Royalties who took part in the funeral are departing. The' King accompanied the ' Kaiser from Win&or to London. He drove to Marlborough House, where he' lunched.. The Kaiser had a tremendous reception. The streets were decorated, and crowded with .thousands of spectators. The Kaiser left Charing Cross-sta-tion for Sheerness, embarking on the* German Imperial yacht Hohenzollern. i The Duke of Cdnnaught gucceeds^the ' King as Grand Master of Freemasons^

The Governor has received the following cablegram from the Secretary of State for tho Colonies, dated Lpndon, February sth*— '%is Majesty, the King command*"- roe to convey to 'you and your Government and the people of New Zealand 'his "cordial 'thankar for, their congratulations on his accession to the throne' and for the assurances of loyalty, which he has received with much gratification.— (Signed) ChamberA* project is afoot amoner the Maoris for the erection, of a statue to Queen "Victoria.
