(P'br Uiilfetf Prta's islobiiHioii.} AUCKLAND, November 15.; At the, annual conference <of the Auckland Fruiigrower-s' Union (it'Hvas moved, "That the executive of the Union bo instructed -to uso every endeavour to get the Government to secure special legislation to encourage the manufacture and sale of pure New Zealand grape wine, by c ther removing it from the operation of the Licensing Act or by tho granting of special bottle licenses open to tmy respectable wineinanufacturcr, cafe, or storekeeper, and tho entering of a clause in the Licensing Act that in the event of prohibition being; carried it will not extend to or include New Zealand wines." Tho motion met with full support, and was carried.
