.S f,j<»eial general meeting of the Wungjnui Rugby Union will be held this evening at" Messrs Jackson and Co.'s rooms at 8 o'clock for the purpose of electing a President in place of Mr A. D. Thomson, resigned. No doubt there will be a full attendance of the delegates of all the clubs under the Union. The Management Committee will meet at the conclusion of the above to consider the protest entered by the Kaierau Football Club against a decision of the referee in last Saturday's match, Piratea v Kaierau. The Eocial committee will meet at Mp93rs Jackson and Oo.'s rooms this eveniug at 7.30 sharp. A full attendance is requested. Tho Wanganui Referees' Association will meet at Messrs Jackson and Co.'s rooms to-night at 7 o'clock. It is hoped that all referees, who can, will be pre-sc-nt, a.t a matter of importance is to be discussed. Members are requested to note the hour of the meeting.
