SCHOOL 11. v UNITED I.
This match was played on Cook's Gaidens, on a god wicket. The game needs httlo description, as the cricket displayed was of a \<>ry poor character, in fact about tho worst exhibition oi the season. The School batted first, hut vere all out for 00, Andrews being tho only player to make any stand. Tregear and Luxford done all the bo.vlmg. and secured goud a\erages. The Umteds started «el), but Marshall's bowling was too much for ths majority of them, and it was anyone's game up to tlie last, the Umteds finally winning by four runs. Marshall securing the best a\erage. It is liant to account for the ftcblo display as the wicket waa good and the bowling was not by any means abova the ordinary. Tho fielding on both sides was good.
