THE PLAGUE.
Received January 24, at 9.15 a.m. ADELAIDE, January 2t. The Acting-Premier states that there are no suspicions that Uie plat^ie exiots: oulside the quarantined aiea-i. Tbe Government are obtaining an expert from Melbourne to investigate. At a special meeting of the Board of Health grave doubts were expressed as to the existence of the true plague m the colony. It was decided to ask for the a\ nointnient cf a Commission of Enquuy.
