A STEAM PLOUGH.
Colonel Tenlpler, of tho Eoyal Engineers, has invented a steam plough, which is constructed to form a 4ft entrenchment at the rate of three miles an hotfr. Tho plough is attached to an ordinary traction-engine, and is intended to save our soldiers from the deadly peril of digging shelter trenches under fire. Two of the machines are alroady on the way out to the Cape, under the supervision of Colonel Templer.
