"For over a year I was tormented like this, when Mr John Weir, living in this place, tol<i me how he had been cured by Slother Seigel's Syrup, aud recommended mo to try it, I did so, and soon all pain left mo, and I have since enjoyed good health. I know many persons residing in this district who Live been benefited by taking the same medicine. Often in my shop I hear persons say what it has done for them. You arc at libeily to publish this lettrr. (Signed) Alexr. Wilson, general merchant, Castlcwelldn, Newcastle, Co. Down, Ireland, August 15th, 18D6." Indigestion or dyspepsia destroys the power to sleep by starving, and thus wCiikeniii" the nervous system. Indeed, tho wliolo body stunos, and is thrown into profound disorder. Food may be taken into the stomach, but, as people constantly say, "It does no good." No ; but in a sense it does harm. Fermented, soured, undigested, it develops poisons ■ which act upon the system somewhat as a pestilence docs upon a community. Flesh is lost, strength gives way to tiemblmg weakness, courage is suppUnted by fear, and life is dreary and desolate. That Mother Seigel's Syrup should be aole to euro a disease so common and go terrible is reason for gratitude to us all. For the healthy — work and sleep.

A GREATFUL PATIENT GIVES UNSOLICITED AND VALUABLE TESTIMONY TO THE EFFICACY OF Tins GREAT HERBAL REMEDY. READ CAREFULLY AND INVESTIGATE FOR YOURSELF. 31 Westgarth Street, Fitzroy, 19/9/99. Mr S. A. Palmer, Vitadatio Institnte, Bonrke Street. Sit, — As I consider Weber's Great Herbal Remedy, "Vitadatio," haß been the sole means of saving my life, "I think the least I can do is to hand you this testimonial, co that others suffering tho same as myself may know that there is a certain and reliable cure" for them in "Webber's Vitadatio," if it is only given a fair trial. The simple facts of my case are as follow — For the past ten (10) years I havo been under the treatment of doctors in Fitzroy nnd St. Kilda, as well as some of the best in Collins Street. Some were of opinion that "I was suffering from consumption," whilst others stated it was "Pleuriby." At any rate, they oould give mo "no rehel, let alone euro me." You can easily imagine that I had "little hope of ever being cured," but one day I noticed an advertised cure by "Webber's Vitadatio," and the symptoms of the patient being somewhat similar to my own, "I thought I would give it a trial," with tho result that after taking only two largo bottles I felt much better and continued the medicine. By tho time I had taken 8 bottles, I was wonderfully recovered, but "oue day took very ill, and vomited up a lot of slimy matter," which was afterwards examined by tho doctor, and "pronounced to be Hydatids." 1 continued to vomit these "Hydatids" for some time, but at last it died away. This naturally left mo weak, but I continued with the "Vitadatio," and gradually "my strength returned," untu to-day I can honestly state I have never felt better m the whole of my life. I consider "Webber's Vitadatio a miracle worker." I am well-known in Fitzroy, and there are many others just as much "astonished at my cure" as I am. I shall be pleased to apeak to anyone, and give them my own experience of the worth of "Webber's Vitadatio." You are at perfect liberty to make what use you like of this testimonial. I may add I am now able to do all my own household work — a thing I have been unable to do yor years. — Yours very gratefully, . fMrs^ CABS.IE HOCKING, 31 Westgarth Street, Fitzroy. Witness— G. E.
