THE "SEND-OFF." (Per United^Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 15. Owing to Colonel Penton's ultimatum, the Demonstration Committee this morning abandoned the idea of holding a farewell at Newtown Park, and a general meeting will be called to determine whether anything shall be done at all.
