Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes — Canterbury, unchanged ; Dunedin and Southland, unchanged; North Island, 7Jd; fair average, including Dunedin, Southland, Wellington, and secondary Canterbury, 4d. River Plato, unchanged. Rabbits.— Colonial firm ; 9d. ' Hares very scare, 2s 9d; Continental supplies having failed. The hemp market is quiet. New Zealand October-December shipment, .£34 15s. At the kauri gum sales 4053 cases were offered, and 1400 sold. Three-quarter Bcrnncd has advanced 2s 6d; other descriptions are unchanged. The stock includes 1632 cases. Lead imports for the month total 15,186 tons, including 2852 tons Australian. The exports total 4666 tons.
