ON FRIDAY, 22nd December, the 1 20 p.m. train from Wellington (Manawatu Company) will run through to Wanganui, arriving there at 11.10 p.m. On SATURDAY, December 23rd, tho mail trains will run between New Plymouth and Wangauui, connecting, as ou ordinary mail days, with tho Wellington trains at Aramoho and with steamers for Auckland at New Plymouth. The I South mail train will leave Wnaganui at 12.45 p.m., instead of 1.5 p.m. Special Passenger Trains will leave Wellington (Manawatu Coy.) at 11 p.m., Wanganui 8 a.m. (Sunday), arriving at New Plymouth at 2.30 p.m. (Sunday). The usual 4 p.m. train from New Plymouth will run through to AVellington, arriving thero at 8.15 a.m. (Sunday). A train will leave Wanganui at 11.30 p.m. for Aramoho, returning at 11.55 p.m. from Aramoho for Wanganui, connecting with above train. On CHRISTMAS DAY tho usual train servico will he run in tho New Plymouth- Woodville-Foxton District. BOXING DAY. SPORTS AT PATEA AND WANGANUI. On TUESDAY, 20th . December, tho usual 4 p.m. train to Hawera and 4.40 p.m. to Palmerston will bo delayed to leave Wanganni at 5.35 p.m. and 5.25 p.m., and run respectively ono hour and thirty-fivo minutes, and forty minutes later than usual to destination. The 1 p.m. train from Mangaonoho to Marton and tho 3.15 p.m. Marton to Mangaonoho will not rim. A train will leave Mangaonoho at 5.45, p.m. for Marton, returning from Marlon at 8.15 p.m. for Mangaonoho, connecting with trains from Wanganni and Palnierston. FEILDING SPORTS AND PALMERSTON RACES. A Special Passenger Train will leave Wanganui at 6.35 a.m., Fordell 7.25 a.m., Feilding 10.5 a.m., arriving at Palmerslon at 10.45 a.m., returning from Palmerston at 6.15 p.m., Feilding 7 p.m., arriving at Wanganui at 10.25 p.m. For cheap fares and further particulars see posters at stations.
