MAYORAL ELECTIONS.

(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 30. Mr Kennedy Macdonald, through his solicitor, has protested against certain irregularities in connection with yesterday's mayoralty election, and declares his intention of having tho matter enquired into by a judicial tribunal. He says, however, that he cheerfully accepts yesterday's verdict and will not be a candidate even if the election is voided. nAWERA, November 30. Mr C. E. Major has been elected mayor, defeating Mr J. Davidson by 38 yotes.
