Attention is drawn to the exceptionally good breeding of FISKE, as his sire Nordenfeldt was by the celebrated Musket out of Onyx, by Angler, a son of the famous Fisherman. The dam of FISKE was My Idiia. This mare waa bred in New South Wales, and was by Yattendon, her dam Ladybird, by imp. Boiardo, out of imp. Mirror, by Sir Hercules. MY IDEA was the dam of Nelson, one of the greatest horses that ever raced in the colony, and FISKE ifchis half-brother. FISKE is in colour a dark chestnut, standing about 16 hands high, powerfully built, with a cannon-bone of 8f inches, and measuring 19.4 inches round the arm. He is very docile in temper, and has proved himself a sure foal^otter. Fiske was bought by Mr G. G. Stead as a yearling for £000. Paddocking free for one month only. Terms, £2 10s. Apply B.
