In tho Appeal Couit the motion for a now trial in the case of Buvey v Comte de Courte is being further heard, Mi Jellicoc continuing the argument in support of tho Chid Justirns' judgment in refusing a new trial. The case involves the point whether a new trial can be granted on the ground of the alleged discovtry of facts since the trial, upon which witnesses called at the trial could ha-ve been cross-examined as to their inedibility.

By all aspirants for political position lavish expenditure is denounced ; there is economy in the use of Black Swan Botteb. — Advt.
