PREMIER SCHREINER SEVERELY CRITICISED.
HIS ACTIONS RE6ARDED AS ATROCIOUS. TRIUMPH OF SIR ALFRED MILNER Received October 17, at 9 a.m. CAPETOWN, October 16. Mr Frank Thompson, a member of the Cape Assembly, expresses the opinion that Premier Schremer's declaration of neutrality of Cape Colony is atrocious, and Sir Alfred Milner has made a master stroke in retaining the Ministry and muzzling it with its attitude in regard to the situation. [This probably refers to the cable published yesterday stating that Premier Schroiner had countersigned Sir Alfred Milner's (Governor and High Commissioner) proclamation to Britishers to observe loyalty.]
