Wanganui Rifles.

The Wanganui Rifles took part this morning in the annual volley and independent firing, and we afe pleased to hear that" they succeeded in putting up a good score, beating -their last year's efforts. Some 44 men fired in three squads under Colour-Sergeant Anderson and Sergeants Erase and Purnell. Sergeant Kruee's squad topped tho average with 25, the others being close up. Lust year the average was a little over 22, There are still 14 men to iiro.
