STRANDING OF THE SIR HENRY.

(Per United Press Association.) Nelsos, January 14. Tbe crew haveleft the Sir Henry. Three attempts were made to tow her off, but failed. The vessel is high on the beach. There is no water whero the oargo is jettisoned. Efforts will be renewed at spring tide. The vessel is valued at £1500 and the cargo at £1000. It is insured in the New Zealand Office for £800, and is owned by Paterson, Miohel and Co., Hokitika.
