In the fourth round, the two northern ' teams Auckland aud Newmarket met, when tho former won by 6," Blenheimproved altogether too good for Waverley, ■ and two other equally easy wins were those' of Blenheim (playing with three isubstitutes) ovor Waverley, Napier over Carter- ■ ton, and Victoria over Nelson.
