Somjiehville, i ' Chairman, N.Z.R.A., Wonganui, N.Z. Deab Sin, — Since I hod the pleasure of informing you that tho Federal Match will bo flrea in Sydney iv October next, I , have received a letter from Captain Hipwell, secretary of the South Australian Rifle Association, stating that his Association will not only send a strong team of riflemen, but that the Ladies Club will be very glad if a match cau be arranged between Foderal Teams of Ladies from the various colonies, at the same time. I therefore have much pleasure in inviting j'oti to bring a team of ladies with' you from New Zealand to compote in a match to be heU at about the time of the Federal in October. Will you be good enough to send me yonr ideas pretty fully on tho subject, so that conditions can be prepared at once. We con get the use of Branaiin rifleß for our cadets. >What do> you propose ?
