IT has come to our knowledge that reports have been circulated that we had left the colonies to avoid being served with a writ at the instance of David Wilkie, in connection with a partnership claim in the Southern Cross-Coolgardie Railway Contract. We hereby give notice that we have instructed our solicitors, Messrs Speed and Durston, of Perth, to accept service of a writ of the Supreme Court of West Australia on our behalf, piovided the writ is issued three months bofore the sitting of the Court, so that we may have sufficient time to attend.
