LANDS FOR THE PEOPLE,
(Pec United Press Association.) Wellington, May 26. The Government have purchased the Starborouga estate, in Marlborough, donsisting of 33,000 acres of fine land, the property of the late Mr Beaumont, who was drowned while journeying to Lyttelton Borne time ago. The price is £104,000. The property will ba out up Into small farms.
