The report o£ the Mines' Commission urges the Government to take steps to protect companies from the imposition of further royalties in respect of tho Me-Arthur-Forrest cyanide paientß, PeStH, May 20. The report of the Mines' Commission condemns the system of dual titles for alluvial leases, and recommends inter alia appointmants on wing boards, reduction of miners' rights to fig per annum, extension of batteries, and suggests the passing of tt new Act instead ofainending the pre»ent Mining Act.
