Darling and Lyonsboth showed vigorous batting form, hitting two fivers in quick succession, a hundred runs being put up in three-quarters of an hour. After Darling'sdismissal the brave stand was not followed up. Storer took Board's place, the latter having injured his hand. v Briggs' fielding was good.
