Our fiibt stock sale at Foretell was well attended, but bidding was dull, prices ruling in favour of purchasers. On the whole the sale was. as succebsful as> we expected, and the measure of support received hub Jiibtiiied ub in acceding to the wibheb of the bottlers and holding the baleb monthly. Our no\t hale will therefore be held on March .(lbt. We quote : - Cm ill: "2 and 3-ye.i.r-old bteeib, 50b; yeaihngheifois, poor condition, 12b; old cows, 20b ; mixed yearlings, 17b (id. A line of fat and forwaid bullocks weio passed in at 70b. Shlli': Shorn lambs, 3s (id to 3s Od; fat sheep, mixed, 5b to (ib; fat and forwaid wetheis, 7s 3d; eld rams, (ib to 10s. Pios : Poikers, 10b ; sows., 20s ; bairowb, 15s to 255. No hoises were bold, theie being absolutely no demand.
