A Self-Confessed Murderer.
A traveller named Samuel Murphy went to the manager of the Goorinawa Station, > N.S.W., s>nd announoed himself as the Collarendabri murderer. He asked for some whisky and tobaooo, and was sent to the men's hut. The polioe were informed. The man's oondnot wm peouliar all night, and bii brother, who was travelling with him, eat up with him. He seemed all right in the* morning, and washed his olothes smd hang them out to dry, but immediately afterwards ont hi* throat.
