The directors of the Central Mine at Broken Hill have examined tbe workings, and are highly impressed with the promising character of the developments in tbe 400 ft level. The bulk of assays for several days past hare averaged 670z of ailvar to the ton. It is impossible at present to compute tha quantity of stone in sight. In. view of these developments, it is believed the shareholders will not finally confirm the proposal to sell.
