A ftshermsmed F Douglas was drowned tn Queen Charlotte Sound. The boat in wbioh he, with a companion named Pirro, was sailing up the Sound capsized. They olung to the upturned boat, with ahesry sea running and with a bitterly oold south eastar blowing, for about 3J hours of terrible suffering and suspense, when Douglas's limbs became numbed and he Blipßed|o2 into 30 fathoms of water. Firro was rescued half an hour later nearly exhausted.
