THE ILL-FATED WAIRARAPA.
(Per United Press Association.) Auckland, January 16. The natives of the Great Barrier have reported to the police authorities that the Wairarapa has opened out and broken up. The masts and bull have disappeared. Tbe body of a woman was found near the wreck. Tho head was gone. Tbe body was clothed save without shoes and stockings. Sho wore a knitted singlet, brown tweed dress, with diagonal blue spots. The body wan interred at Maori Bay.
