The annual meeting of Gorman and Am* trian Sooialist politicians came after two days' diicuision £o an end, fclje remit- being of no more v«lne than academical, diiouesions on social questions nsnally are. ■ For over 80 yean, these German profen^ri have been annually meeting for the purpose of solving iooi»l problemsjbut hitherto without sucsess. Two of the questions djssnsied wore whether rings and trusts ought to be prohibited by legislation, and whether the peasant's right of inheriting should be limited or not. No deoision was come toon either question.
