Hack means a horso that baa never won a race and in not nominated at time of start for any race, hack and hunter races excopted. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Taranaki Jockey Club, at tho Secretary's Office, Brougham Street, Now Plymouth ; entrance money encloaed, with name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and I performance of the horse, and the colours of the rider. In cases where penalties have to be carried for winning, it shall be the duty of the owner, trainer or jockey to notify the same to the Secretary at 930 o'clock on the night before the race. Fivo per cent, will be deducted from all winnings towards tho expenses of the course. Morsee walking over will receive fifty per cent, of the itokeß.
