THE Patea County Council, being desirous of raising the sum of £3000 by way of loan under the provisions of " Tho Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886," and " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and amendments, hereby notify that It is proposed to raise a loan of £3000 for the purpose of constructing a road bridge over the Whenuakura Kiver on tho main line of road on the same site as the present one. ■■Mil. It 19 proposed to pay the first year'B interest and cost of raising the loan, out of loan nioneya. The security to be offered for the said loan to bo a Special Bale of oneeighteenth of a penny (1-1 8 th of Id) in the £, to be struck over the whole county (Crown and Native lands exoepted), buch rate to be an' annually recurring rate for 26 years, and to bo due and payable on the first day of October in each year.
