PRESENTATIONS TO MESSRS WILLIAMS AND GARNER.
Two very pleasing presentations were made at the Wanganui Brewery yesterdayone to Mr Edward Garner, until very lately an esteemei member of the well' known firm of Williams and Gsrnor— and the other to Mr T. B. Williams, who v now carrying on the business. The 'presentations took tbe form of handsomely lefcterod addresses in gold on purple satin, encastd in massive gold frame. Tbe 'addresses are surmounted by the brewery trade mark, 1 with the symbols of the trade at thb foot, while at the side are emblems of good luck and friendship. The text is as follows i—
Dear Sir, — It is with sincere .regret we learn that the firm, being established so many years, is now alont to terminate, and we, the undersigned employees of the firm respectfully desire to express' to you ' our appreciation of the kind minner in whioh you have treated us during the many years we have been employed by you. We tender yon this token of our esteem, knowing it will remind you of the many pleasant' days we bate spent in the Wanganui Brewery, working together in a friendly and hearty manner. We sincerely hops that in the future yob will oontinae to ezperienoo the suocess yon have merited 'in' the past, ' and we tract that you will always enjoy the very best of good health.
