Mr Taylor was re-elected chairman, and the treasurer showed a credit balabe of £71 89 3d, A letter was read from the Atkinson Memorial Committee, consideration of whioh was hold over until next meeting. Accounts amounting to £9 3s 6d were passed for payment. Mr Aiken gave notice of motion to rescind a resolution passed at the meeting hold on September 9tb, 1890, re letting the old Hall, nt the next meoting of the Board. Meisrs Mason and O'Brien waited on the Board re the use of the Hall for the Chess and Draughtß Clnb. The Board agreed that the Town Hall be let to the Ohess and Draughts Olub at Gs Gd per quarter, when not otherwise occupied' It was resolved that the roots on footpaths bo grubbed up whore necessary, and Messrs Aiken, Thurston, and tho Chairman be empowered to alter korbing on maui street where necessary. This concluded the Town Board business, and the Waverley Domain Board then sat, the same members being present. After the ordinary formalities, the treasurer reported a debit balance of £23 lls 9d, and accounts amounting to £8 Is were passed for payment. On the motion of Mr Aiken, seconded by Mr Thurston, it was resolved to call for tenders for trimming, grubbing, and stumping fences on domain, to close on Saturday, the 15th instant, at noon, and that Messrs Thurston and the Chairman be empowered to open and accept same, and tho meeting closed. , The valuation of the Clarendon Hotel was done on Monday last, Messrs Barns and Perkins acting as valuers, aud the incoming landlord, Mr Hooper, took posession on Tuesday. About 20 gentlemen met on Monday to wish Mr O'Halloran Q-od-speed, andtowelcomeMr Hooper. Thehealtbofthe lato host was proposed by Mr Barns, who bore testimony to the high esteem in whioh he was hold by all who have come in contact with him or had business relations with him. The toast was enthusiastically drunk with musical honors, and itoould be plainly soon that Mr O'Hallorau leaves with the best wishes of all who are acquainted with him.

A meeting of the oreditors of Mr Thomas Branton was held in the Old Hall on Tubsday last, Mr 0. Budgo, the D.0.A., presiding. After putting a number of questions to the debtor, evidently with tho intention of establishing the fact that Mr Holmes was a partner, the D.O.A. suggested that the meeting adjourn until he had an opportunity to obtain advice and thoroughly examine the affiira of the bankrupt. The meeting then adjourned sine die.

I find that in my remarks, in reference ta the Momobaki schools not turning out at tho adpointed time, I did thorn an injustice, as it appears the Waverley boys

made a mistake in the date, and in consequence puid their visit to Momohaki a week too soon.
