They Have Established Five Colonies There.

Chicago, July 14. M. Lopez, an extensive mine-owner of Mexioo, says that the troubles 'with tho Mormons in Utah will be repeated in Mexico in a few years. "In tho States of Chihuahni and aonora," he stated, " tho Mormons are making extraordinary progress. There are over a thousand Mormon families in the valley of Carvalitoi, in Chihuahua, divided into different colonies. The colony of Diaz is the largest, and hat been established seven years. They are transforming tbe wildernoss into a garden. The families are all prosperous and eaoh year put enough money aside to extend their irrigation ditches. Besidei digging wells, the people of Dial' colony bring water from the mountains for irrigation purposes. The Mormon colonies at Juarez and Dublin are also quite prosperous.

The Noith Mexioan Paoifio Railway, through Northwestern Mexico, is progressing rapidly. Protn Deming, N. M,, to P»lom»9 tho road is all ready for the rails. This will enable the owners of coal mines to place their coal on the markets ot the Pacific coist at a much leis figure than is now asked. Great is the progress made by Mormons, and us soon ns their numbers are inoreased I fear a con diet between them and the native Moxicans."
