An emergency meeting of the mombo/s of the ot Andrew Kihwnmng Lolire was held last night for the purpose ot receivin" P.G.D.M. Bro. McCullough. ot tho P.O. Lodge in Auckland, who attonded for tho purpose ot investing P.M.Bro. J. L Stovensou with tho degree of P.G.J.W. of fcho P.G Lodgo. The meeting waa very largely attonded by member* of both tho Scotch oud English Lodges 121 Wanganui and also by visitors from different parts of Hie colony. Lodgo in Auckland, without bias, that tho present position was not satisfactory and that tho interests of tho Craft might bo improved by abolishing tho P.G. Lodgo and effecting a transfor of allegiance, such action might induce a friendly discussion and oud advantageously. Ho felt, with others, strongly upon this mattor, hut inasmuch as he was willing to be convinced by any arguments from the other side, thoro certainly was no piojudico shown.
