INSTALLATION OF MAYOE.
Mr Purnell read the declaration intimating tho return of Mr Henry Nathan and the usual formula was then gone through, after whioh Mr Parsons installed him in the Mayoral chair, and in congratulating him, said he hoped his term of office would be a successful one and to romomber that if he did not disgrace the chair, the chair would never disgrace him
Mr Nathan in replying said ho only hoped that the Council may work as amicably for tho next twelve momth?, as they h'd done for the last two years, nnd at tho end of his term he hoped to bo nblo to cay, as Mr Parsons had, that he had done his duty and given satisfaction.
Mr Hatriek first rose to congratulate Mr Nathan, followed by all the other Councillors. There was no further business and the meeting thon adjourned.
