GiiEYMOUTn, August 1, At p. late hour last night information was rec"ived that at a general meeting of minors atßrunneiton it v,as decided to withdraw tho resolution to accept twopence per ton reduction, conditionally an tho Governmont and the Union Company making a similar flaorifioo, and they withdrew their tools from tho miues this morning at 9 o'clock. Both aides appear determined to adhere to tho position taken up.
