OWEN'S PATENT NEW f/EALAND Q HEEP J\ IP Li o U We are prepared to supply tho above DIP, which will be found, ns now prepared, the Cheapest nnd most Effective in tho Colony. Wo attach some of tho many Testimonials which Mr Owen lias received from sheop farmers, and we can thoroughly recommend it to our numerous friends. TESTIMONIALS. Wiritou, May 22nd, 1889. MbW. T Owen. Dear Sib — I have dipped over 3000 steep this year in your Patont Sheep Dip, and am bo well pleased with it that I should not think of using any other. We examined a number the other day after they wore dipped, and found the ticks nil dead on tho outside of the wool ; wo also examinee! some that hnd been dipped six weeks, nnd found them free from ticks, and tho wool bright and soft. Ono unshorn lamb, badly infosted with both lico and licks, I dipped in what was left over from last year, and had been exposed in the dip ever since, two months after ho had no sign o£ either ticks or lico, and the wool in as good condition as anyone could wish for the two months ho was running with undipped sheep.— Yours truly, E. A Campbell. Elolca, Patea, May 25th, 1889. To Mb W. T. Owen, Wanganui. Deab Sie — 1 have to congratulate you on the discovery of your very efficient Sheep Dip. I consider it to be absolutely destructive of insect life when used as directed. As regards the wool, it is the only dip I have ÜBed that leaves the wool soft and lustrous throughout without injuring the wool that is on the sheep at tho timo of dipping. For a lung worm spocific I havo not had on opportunity of trying it, as my hoggets are not affected to any noticeable extent, though my neighbor, Mi 1 J. Ross, of Otauto, Patea, last year informed me that it had a most beneficial effect on his hoggets which wore badly affected last year. If by publishing this testimonial it will increase tho use of your dip do so by all meanß, — I am, dear Sir, yours truly, War. Wiison. Nowtonlees Farm, May 30th, 1889. To Me W. T. Owen, Makirikiri, Wanganui Deab Sib — We were induced to givo your Patent Dip a trial this past soaßOn, with the result, that we have now very much pleasure in adding our testimony in its favor, as a cheap and effective dip. Wo examined the sheep twenty-four hours after dipping, and found all ticks dead, and again fourtjen days after, with tho result that not one livo tick could be found. Wo also noticed that after dipping both the Bheep and wool seemed to have been greatly benefitted. After the oipenence of this season wo certainly would hive no hesitancy in using it again, for we are confident that if the instructions as given with each tin aro attended to good results will follow.— We are, yours truly, E. & J. MOBBAN. Mnrangi, 10th Juno, 1889. My Deab Owen — According to promise I now write you relative to your Sheep Dip. As you know, I have used it for two seasons, and it has given mo complete satisfaction. I find it easier to mix than any other dip, and it thoroughly destroys all ticks and lice. I think that it improves the wool, leaving no stain, and does not injuro tho staple in tho slightest degree.— l remain, faithfully yours, Jko. Cambbon. Ponrerere, ITawko's Bay, December 6, 1589. He W. T. Owen, Makirikiri, Wanganui. Owen, Esq , Deab Sia — I havo used your dip for tho last two seasons now, dipping about 8000 sheep a year. I have found it tboroughly effectual, the sheop having kopfc quite free fiom ticks aftorwards, and coming in at shearing very clean, and tho wool in good order. I may say thac I mix^d it r,t tlio Oiacfc strength according to instructions marked on each tin. I inteud using it this year again.— Yours truly, John T. Daletmpib.
