CiiMSTCHUBCir, July 30. Tho live stock market was again well attonded, and the business done was good in the fat stock pens.
Stose Sheep— About 1500 were yarded for which thore was good demand. 2 and 4-tooth maiden owes brought up to 133 7d ; lambs sold at 9a 9d and 12s 3d, for good sorts of crosabreus. Merino wethers sold at 6s tOd to Oi 7d j Borne crossbred ewes in lamb, aged, brought from 8s to 10s.
Fat Caulk — There was a good entry of beef, some of which from the North Island being conspicioaa. Prico remains firm, from 22s Cd to 2is per lUOlbs being tho highest ; from 18s to 21s was the average foi cows or inferior sorts.
Fat Sheep About 4,500 were yarded, There na3 nothing special in regard to quality. Tho price obtained for tho be3t was 255, w ith exception from the general run, which made from 16s to 20s Cd, loaving nett price of mutton much tho same as during recent sales. Good freezers fetched over 2^d per 1b nett weight.
Pigs — An entry of ueurly 500, chiefly prime baconers, realised good prices, BJd being about average.
