Sir Graham Berry has cabled to the Premier, that the Imperial Government agree to the proposal to select) six colonial officers annually to undergo instruction at Shoeburyness and Woolwich. In tho Legislative Assembly, Sir S. W. , Griffiths has tabled n motion traversing the financial proposals of the Government, particularly with regard to the imposition of a Property Tax. Government has accepted the motion aa ono of want of confidence, and the debate is proceeding.
